6 missionary appointees commissioned during Launch

ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP International Ministries commissioned six missionary appointees during the Launch training event January 15-17 at the ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP headquarters in Orlando, Florida.

The appointees are:

  • , Cornerstone Baptist Church, Ludington, Michigan, ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP MidAmerica, and , Calvary Fellowship, West Hartford, Connecticut, ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP Northeast, will serve on the U.S. Engagement Team as church mobilization associates. They will partner with churches to seek out their unique calling within global missions.
  • , Trinity Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida, ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP Southeast, will head to Benin, Africa, to work with the 6 Degree Initiative.
  • , Crosswalk Community Church, Titusville, Florida, ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP Southeast, is the Florida representative for Perspectives on the World Christian Movement and will serve ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP and any interested churches or groups to make the course even more accessible and applicable.
  • , United in Christ Christian Church, Lithia Springs, Georgia, ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP Southeast, are in the last stages of deciding which unreached people groups they will serve.

Launch is three days of learning the heart of ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP’s mission. During the training, appointees hear from Scott Ridout (ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP president), Ivan Veldhuizen (executive director of ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP International Ministries), Member Care, Mobilization and more. Appointees also learn the biblical basis for why and how International Ministries seeks to reach the least reached.

It takes many people to launch a missionary into the mission field: family, churches, partners and ÐÔÊÓ½çAPP. in reaching people across the street and around the world with the gospel.
